Crystal Palace vs Tottenham - Discussion Thread

Newly promoted Crystal Palace begin their Premier League campaign with a tough opener against Champion League-chasing Spurs.

Palace have found the net in all but one of their previous eight Premier League fixtures against Spurs.

Tottenham have only won two of their last 12 opening Barclays Premier League games (D4 L6).

Spurs lost their last Premier League game against Crystal Palace; 0-3 in January 2005 at Selhurst Park.

The Eagles have lost only one of their last six Premier League games against Spurs.

Against no other side have Palace scored more Premier League goals than they have managed against Spurs (10).

This will be the 16th time Tottenham have played away from home in their opening Premier League game, a competition-record.

The last time Crystal Palace opened up a Premier League campaign on home soil, they were beaten 1-6 by Liverpool.

I am guessing this game won't be easy but if we fall into our stride early rather than later in the game, I don't think they can beat us.

Am just hoping that the new players click together quickly.

COYS !!!
