New home grounds for some clubs this season. Kitchee moved to Mong Kok. Citizen relocated to Tsing Yi

I might support Eastern, they used to be one of the best way back when!

They are allocated to Shing Mun Valley, which is very inconvenient for supporters.

I will stick with Citizen, of course.

But I am disappointed they move to Tsing Yi, I liked having them as my local team and I only live 5 minutes for MK stadium :-/

Away games only, then!

Know what you mean. I was a disappointed to learn Kitchee had left Tseung Kwan O even though Mong Kok is a better ground for watching football. There isn't a huge difference in travel time from my home but I liked the fact Kitchee was my 'local' team.

Tsing Yi is actually not that difficult to get to either for me, but I've never been a fan of teams just upping and leaving their base...I thought the idea was to create a sense of regional identity for the teams.

Although in someways I'm kinda glad Sun Pegasus have been booted out of Yuen Long stadium, so that a true Yuen Long team can take their place there.

The situation isn't ideal but its a big improvement from 10 years ago. There are at least a number of regional teams, mostly in the NT, that will remain localised, eg, Yuen Long, Teun Mun, Tai Po. Southern are likely to stay in Aberdeen, South China will also use the HK stadium, and once Siu Sai Wan is reopened, Happy Valley home is on the island, though it's a pity they can't play at the HKFC.

Yuen Long, Teun Mun and Tao Po have an excellant fan base and demonstrates introducing regional teams into the HK league works. I'd love to see a team from Sai Kung in the first division! What a great away day if Lantau had a team !!

Onwards and upwards. Looking forward to the new season. Could be a lot tighter this season.

I used to watch Happy Valley from time to time (that's going back a few years!). Any team that doesn't play in red !

Stew.
