Miss Yuen Shuk Yan of Society for Community Organization (香港社區組織協會)(Soco), together with elderly Hong Kong resident, Mr. Kwok and Stewart Banister, Chairman of Spurs Hong Kong. Mr. Banister handed over a cheque of just over HK$11,000 to Soco which was money raised from recent auctions of donated Tottenham Hotspur signed football legend shirts provided by AIA in Hong Kong to the English Premier League club's local supporters club.

 

Mr. Banister thanked AIA and Tottenham Hotspur for the generous contribution of the shirts and the auction payments made by a few of their Hong Kong based supporters. Soco was very grateful for the donation, as was Mr. Kwok. Mr. Banister said "it's such a pity that there are so many elderly people that still live in cage-like condistions in Hong Kong with very little if any, support from their families and not enough support from the Government. Although the funds we raised as a small association is a modest amount of money, it can go towards helping these elderly people. I just hope that other groups and the government themselves can do more for these people in the future. Spurs Hong Kong will also try it's best to raise more money for Soco in this year''.
